The Tiare Collio Ribolla Gialla DOC is a unique masterpiece from the indigenous vine Ribolla Gialla. Gialla is called yellow, and in a bright straw yellow also presents this Friulian specialty. Green aromas delight the nose – lots of gooseberry and a hint of mint create a fragrance of expressive freshness. The palate is dry, fresh and crunchy on, lively, harmonious and wonderfully supple. Everything flows into a fine, slightly sweet finale with a seemingly eternal echo. We fell in love with the first sip!
For us, the best Ribolla Gialla in the world!
Roberto Snidarcig devotes himself with great passion to the typical grape varieties rooted in Friuli since time immemorial, which are famous for their high flavor potential. The presence of Ribolla Gialla in the Collio has been documented since 1300, and it is believed that the grape under the name Evola was already sought after by the ancient Romans. Traditionally, it has been cultivated and grown together with the other indigenous varieties Tocai Friulano and Malvasia Istriana in mixed vineyards.
