Domaine du Tariquet is located in the beautiful south-west of France and is considered a pioneer in its region when it comes to planting Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay vines. The first winery in Gascony to cultivate these varieties in the 1980s, Chenin and Marselan were added in the 1990s.
The main aim of the Domaine du Tariquet is to conjure up incredibly fresh and charmingly invigorating wines on the bottle. As is customary in Gascony. With tender lightness, yet complex and seductive power. These drops are truly a pleasure for all senses.
The vineyard area of the Domaine du Tariquet is about 900 hectares and is now cultivated by the Gassa family.
Top marks at international competitions
The region’s mild, generally warm and temperate climate and relatively high rainfall produce first-class grapes. The ground at the foot of the Pyrenees is characterised by sandstone and chalk.
The wines produced here have a unique character and are highly regarded at international competitions. Whether gold at Mundus Vini, the Berlin Wine Trophy or the CWSA – the series of successes is long. And the price is surprisingly low.
